Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of ChangelogForge (the "Service"), provided by Universal Global Services Ltd (Company No. 17423506, registered address 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind the organisation you represent.
• Connecting a third-party provider such as GitHub, Google or Microsoft is governed by that provider's own agreements.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.

2. Service status

Features, quotas, pricing and limits may change with reasonable notice. We aim for high availability and the Service is provided "as is".

3. Plans, billing and taxes

• Plans are displayed in USD. The Free plan offers a limited number of monthly releases for a public repository. Paid plans (Pro, Team and Business) add private repositories, higher limits and collaboration features. The Business plan price depends on the selected tier and volume; contact [email protected] for a quote.
• Paid plans (Pro and Team) can be purchased online; checkout opens on Stripe\'s secure payment page. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
• Prices shown exclude VAT; VAT is added at checkout by Stripe Tax. VAT registration applied for; not yet valid. EU business customers can request reverse charge treatment by providing a valid VAT ID at checkout.
• You may cancel at any time in your billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. See our Refund Policy for details on how to exercise this right.

5. Acceptable use

• You may not use ChangelogForge to store or transmit unlawful, harmful or infringing content, malware, or content that violates third-party rights.
• You may not attempt to disrupt, probe or circumvent the Service or its security controls.
• You must comply with all applicable export control and data protection laws.

6. Your data and our content

• You retain all rights to your repository content and generated changelogs. We do not claim ownership of your data and use it solely to operate and improve the Service.
• The ChangelogForge name, logo and software are owned by Universal Global Services Ltd.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service in whole or in part with notice where reasonably practicable. We will not materially reduce your rights without notice.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Universal Global Services Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms with notice where practicable. On termination you may export your data in accordance with our retention policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
